by far, one of the best games Ive ever played in ipad. Waiting for another game from Amanita Design.

Nice game, really. I wish all my saved game would not have all disappeared during the game. We are in 2014. Such a serious bug on a basic and essential functionality as game saving should not occur. And it should be fixed appropriately, not by providing editors checkpoint saves. Also having a blocking issue in the middle of Botanicula, another of their game. Amanita design need to work on stability and testing. And support, which is non-existent so far.

Fun, hard (but not too much), addictive, logical, beautiful, unique atmosphere, I recommend to people who like points & clicks and puzzles (not easy ones). A must have, cant wait for a machinarium 2.

One of the best games for iPad! Creative in everything, adorable graphics, fantastic soundtracks, its confortable, intrigant, simple but complex... Im addicted!

It was a absolutely great game . I played on my PC years ago.Now its on my new iPad.I just get addicted to it. Looking forward to Machinarium 2!!!

Pros: The game has very beautiful sceneries. Cons: 1. Unfortunately most of the puzzles are not creative. As though they ran out of ideas and just pushed too hard to come up with a puzzle for the sake of the game to get it over with. 2. The robot moves very slowly and sometimes you just think. "Oh come oooonnn!" Bottom line I dont regret buying the game. It was fun.

The finest adventure Ive seen since a long time! Beautiful artwork, mood-setting music, and some really nice riddles.

Originally I had given this a poor review for the same reasons others stated; the game play was frustrating on iPhone. Despite this, I persisted and at some point realized that when you have the correct placement for an item, IT LIGHTS UP! This discovery instantly made the game play easier on both iPad and iPhone. The "lighting up" is very subtle and difficult to notice on iPhone. I also discovered that placing the items slightly above where you want them to go is the best placement. This changed the game for me and Ive since made good progress. Still annoyed by the menu access at top and the need to constantly hit the star to access it. Would be a definite improvement if you could also "minimize" the menu when you choose to as opposed to it auto hiding after two seconds. Anyhow, cool game.

There is a very frustrating glitch with the dog and the gun/plunger. Impossible to move on. I feel I wasted hours of my time only to get stuck mid-game.

One of if not the best puzzle adventure Ive played. Beautiful artwork. Smartly layered in back story. Fun and different puzzles. Highly recommended!

I mean of course its not meant for a phone ! Stop complaining and try it on an ipad, its one of the best and cutest games of its category, period.

Ive played Machinarium on my computer before, and this is just the same. Im glad its finally gone on sale! Its taking a little getting used to, but its lovely to be able to play this game on the go.

Menu auto-closing is annoying, interface has usability issues. Beautiful graphics but game is just too annoying and sadistic in places. The puzzles can be more annoying and tedious than clever. Broken Age is much better as a game.

Does not work on the 6 plus. Please fix.

Although I agree the inventory selection is cumbersome, the game as a whole is lovely and incredibly witty and gorgeous.

Luv the game and played on PC. So I bought it but i cant even open it! What the hell?!

Its a great game except Ive come to part 7-8 and I cant get any further. Theres some kind of glitch. Besides this its an awesome game. Maybe one day I will finally get past
